Patients on long-term medication can use the repeat slip attached to their last prescriprion to re-order. Simply tick the required items and forward it to the surgery using the designated drop box in the entrance
Please note that prescriptions cannot be done over the phone. It is the patient's responsibilty to order medication before it runs out. To do this you need to tick your repeat section (this is normally attached to your actual prescription) and place it in the drop box. Please allow 48 hours for this to be processed.
Patient's should ideally also sign up with a pharmacy of your choice for the Electronic Prescribing Service, known as EPS This agreement will allow the practice to send you monthly prescriptions directly to the nominated pharmacy. Please visit one of you local pharmacies or speak to a member of the reception team for further information
PLEASE NOTE - As from September 1st we will no longer accept repeat prescription requests from local pharmacies. If you wish to request repeat medication either post your request in the DROP BOX in the practice entrance of register to order your prescriptions online either via the NHS App or by Patient Access
Pharmacies can continue to collect prescriptions on your behalf if you use this service, and if you have your medication delivered to your home this will also continue
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
